Tell us who is instructing
It is the first thing we establish and the one that prevents most of what goes wrong in this trade. Everything else — dates, access, volume — is easier once that is settled.
If you are the person being moved
Get in touch even if somebody else made the booking. An agent, an employer or a housing provider may be paying, and you are the one who knows what is in the loft, which piece must not be dismantled, and whether the date actually works.
We will speak to you before the day regardless. Contacting us first simply makes that conversation earlier and more useful.
If you are paying for somebody else
Tell us in what capacity — a landlord, an agent acting for a landlord, an employer, an executor, a provider. It decides who the contract is with and it is not something we can adjust after an invoice is disputed.
And expect us to contact the householder. It is not negotiable and it is in everybody's interest, including yours.
If something went wrong
Write and say so plainly. Your booking contract covers claims and the time limits on them, and we would far rather deal with it directly than leave you reading clauses on your own.
